Between 999 and 1211, the Kara-khanids ruled the KaraKhanid Khanate dynasty. The languages of the Kara-khanid were called Turki, Kashgari or Khaquani. Karluk Turkic was spoken in the khanate. Vietnam Tay Boi was a unique mixture of French and Vietnamese used in the 19th to mid-20th century. French departure around 1954 supposedly marked the extinction of this pidgin language. Mbabaram, spoken in North Queensland, was the traditional language of the Mbabaram tribe. Notably, it did not fit into the continent’s linguistic patterns. Albert Bennett, the last speaker, died in 1972.
