Dicamay Agta 1974

In 1957, only one family was left speaking the language. By 1974, the remainder of the community neither spoke nor understood the language, rendering Dicamay Agta extinct. Central Maluku Province, East Buru Island near Kayeli, Indonesia Moksela fell prey to extinction following the death of the last speaker, who died in 1974, leaving behind no means of reviving the language.
