Choose Organic Produce

-

Pesticides are commonly used in growing the vegetables we eat and growth hormones are commonly used in rearing the animals we eat. These toxic chemicals that can poison animals that they aren’t intended to kill and disrupt ecosystems. For example, a bird may be poisoned by eating insects that have eaten pesticide. Pesticide also pollutes water when they are accidentally spilled or washed into water bodies like rivers. Buying and eating organic produce is a way to support food growers who do not use pesticides. Although it may be more pricey, you can enjoy your food without contributing to environmental pollution. You can even start your own garden and grow your own range of organic vegetables or herbs!
