Kenzo
Japanese fashion designer Kenzo Takada moved to Paris in 1964 and established his namesake brand six years later. Kenzo’s colourful trademark derived from Takada’s Asian- and Japanese-influenced style with the construction of European fashion. After three decades at the helm of the company, Takada announced his retirement, and his brand has continued to grow under the guidance of young American designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, whose fun, cool-kid fashions have been worn by such celebrities as Beyoncé, Zooey Deschanel, and Spike Jonze.
