Nissin Foods
There is no doubt that instant noodles have made life much more convenient: They are the answer to hangovers, ideal when you’re in a time crunch, or the perfect accompaniment to a lazy day. But who brought this marvellous invention to life? The instant noodle as well as the cup noodle were the brainchild of TaiwaneseJapanese inventor Momofuku Ando in 1958. He had founded Nissin Foods in 1948, presumably unaware that he would be making history just a decade later. Today, Nissin Foods has offices around the world, including Hong Kong, India, Hungary, Brazil, Germany, China, Thailand, and Mexico, as well as a base of adoring consumers way beyond the borders of Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
