Xiaomi

Xiaomi makes a variety of products including laptops and TVS, but has its roots in the manufacturing of smartphones. In 2010, it released its first Android-based firmware, MIUI, and in 2011, its first smartphone – the Mi1. After receiving USD1.1 billion from investors in 2014, Xiaomi became the most valuable tech startup in the world, leaving Uber behind at number two.
