University of Hong Kong

The University of Hong Kong is the oldest tertiary institution in the territory, and was also the first university established by the British Empire in East Asia. According to the QS World University Rankings, it is second in Asia and in the 25th position globally. As a research-driven university, 111 of their professors have been ranked as the world’s top one percent scientists by Essential Science Indicators, Thomson Reuters.
