Seoul National University

Ranked 36th in the world and 10th in Asia, according to the QS World University Rankings, Seoul National University is considered the most prestigious university in Korea. It became a Japanese Imperial University during Japan’s occupation of Korea, and was later taken over by North Korea during the Korean War of the 1950s.
