Hoshinoya

-

More often than not, villas and Bali go hand in hand. Hoshinoya brings this widely- used national concept a step further by combining Japanese design without letting go of traditional Balinese roots. The resort itself is ringed with lush green hills and overlooks the Pakerisan River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The three different villa options are encased within hand- carved Balinese temple doors, but inside, Japanese architectural elements are seen in perfect harmony with local design. A restaurant on the premises serves Balinese dishes with a unique Japanese twist. In the villas, comfortable futon-style beds rest on the ground, and there are walk-in showers as well as semi-private pools. Traditional Balinese spa treatments and massages are offered, using locally sourced natural ingredients. Craft and dance workshops and yoga classes are conducted, providing tranquillity for every body, mind and soul.
