Kumbukriver Resort
The Kumbukriver Resort is an eco-lodge that is a real getaway: no tall buildings, no concrete paths, no Wi-fi. There are four villas on offer, each more unique than the next. The largest is a 12-metre-high structure – shaped like an elephant! – that has two large bedrooms on its upper deck and an open lounge and toilet with hot water showers downstairs. Tree Luxuria is the second villa, and it is built between two trees, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, and overlooks the river. The Jungle Cabin offers views of the river and the jungle, while the Boat House sits atop the riverside, and has an elephant painted onto its structure. All four villas are beautifully built and offer complete privacy, ideal for honeymooners and people who crave some alone time.
