Casio

Apart from the production of electronics, Casio was also known for its wide variety of innovative wristwatches, including the creation of quartz watches. One of its significant achievements came about from the idea of an engineer during an internal meeting over 35 years ago. With the aim to produce watches that wouldn’t break when dropped, engineers undertook a continuous process of trial and error. As a result, the brand’s first G- SHOCK watch was launched in 1983.
