This savoury, salted yo­ghurt drink was con­sumed in an­cient Per­sia, and is still hugely pop­u­lar to­day. It is of­ten served chilled and paired with grilled meat and rice. Doogh may in­clude pep­per, mint, lime juice, or even cu­cum­ber pieces. Best of all, there is a car­bon­ated ver­sion of the drink, too.
