Mehari Sushi

Asian Geographic - - Feature | Paan -

Mehari Sushi, which translates to “wideeyed sushi” in Japanese, is a traditional dish hailing from the Mie Prefecture of Kumano City. Instead of seaweed, flavoured rice and pickled vegetables are wrapped in a pickled takana mustard leaf. So tasty is the dish that it is said that anyone who takes a bite is left wide-eyed with delight.
