Akash (Space)

This element is believed to be elliptical in shape and is generally black or colourless. Space is generally associated with the sense of hearing and the portion above our eyebrow is akash.

The space right between both eyebrows is known as Ajna chakra and is considered the most powerful centric spot of the human body. This is why Indians always follow the tradition of keeping their bindi or sacred kunkum in between their eyebrows. It is believed that by doing so, they are applying pressure to the spot which activates their senses that are associated with their chakra
