Charge adjourned for resident
Margaret River man Antony Charles Hardy appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, with his charge of murder adjourned to a mention date on March 28.
The upgraded charge follows an incident in Margaret River on January 30 during which resident David Graces died.
On Wednesday, Mr Hardy was without his lawyer.
Magistrate Jan Whitbread said she was happy to talk to Mr Hardy directly and explained the procedures around documents related to the murder charge.
The magistrate said she would ask someone to tell his lawyer to call him as soon as possible.
