Circus family passes to win
The Great Moscow Circus is headed to Margaret River early next month and five local families have the chance to catch all the action for free.
The much-loved circus is already well known nationwide for its mix of skilled performances and feats of daring.
The circus only uses human performers to entertain the crowds.
Circus team member Kathy Weber said audiences could expect non-stop, spine-tingling thrills.
“We’ve got great acts from overseas and locally,” Mrs Weber said.
“We’ve got the globe of death with the motorbikes and our riders. We’ve got aerial acts, trapeze, silks, we’ve also got our Russian troupes in there — they do trampoline and a big swing act — we’ve also got clowns and the hula hoop. “Really, we’ve got everything.” Mrs Weber described the circus as one made up of professional performers with a focus on not using any animals in the show.
“There’s about 50 of us altogether, so there’s quite a few people and it’s a good team — we’re like one big family,” she said. Among the show’s team is its youngest member and rider Cruz Weber, 4, along with seventh-generation circus performers in the aerial acts.
The circus will be set up at Margaret River’s Gloucester Park from November 7-11 for six shows. For bookings, contact 0497 667 269.
