Augusta Margaret River Times - - News -

Culture and art are integral to life within the Shire and deeply aligned to the Shire of Augusta Margaret River’s Vision and Community Strategic Plan 2036.

As part of this review of these documents we want to hear from you about what is important in a creative and culturally diverse community.

Public Art are works that are accessible to the public and can include:

• sculptures

• paintings

• etchings

• ephemeral works

• community art collaborations

The Culturally Active Communities Policy and the Creative Blueprint aim to:

• Develop and enhance our cultural participation and vibrancy

• Support the cultural economy

• Showcase the history and culture of the region

Your feedback on how these policies and plans will guide our cultural future is important.

You can access copies of the policies and plans and provide your thoughts and comments in the forum and Q&A sections at yoursay.amrshire.wa.gov.au or contact the Community Development team directly at amrshire@amrshire.wa.gov.au.
