Last chance to catch the cir­cus

Cir­cus lovers still have a chance to catch one of the high­lights of the year in Mar­garet River, with tick­ets still avail­able to the Great Moscow Cir­cus tonight and this week­end.

The much-loved cir­cus is al­ready well known na­tion­wide for its mix of skill and feats of dar­ing.

Cir­cus team mem­ber Kathy We­ber said au­di­ences could ex­pect a huge night out and plenty of thrills. “We’ve got great acts from over­sees and lo­cally,” Mrs We­ber said. “We’ve got the Globe of Death, the mo­tor­bikes, our Flair rid­ers — he does back som­er­saults and ev­ery­thing in there. We’ve got aerial acts, trapeze, silks, we’ve got our Rus­sian troupes in there, they do tram­po­line and a big swing act, we’ve got clowns, hula-hoop, re­ally, we’ve got ev­ery­thing.”

Mrs We­ber de­scribed the cir­cus as pro­fes­sional with a fo­cus on us­ing few an­i­mals in the show.

The show youngest mem­ber and Flair rider is Cruz We­ber, 4, whose three sis­ters are also in the troupe.

The cir­cus will be at Mar­garet River’s Glouces­ter Park un­til Sun­day, with mati­nees on Satur­day and Sun­day.
