Re­turn to retro at Witch­cliffe fair

Witch­cliffe cel­e­brates its an­nual Vin­tage Fair to­mor­row.

Now in its ninth year, to­mor­row’s fes­tiv­i­ties un­fold from 9am.

Or­gan­iser Jo Bregazzi was full of praise for “the won­der­ful lit­tle Druids Hall and grounds” which would again host the event.

Part pro­ceeds from the day go to lo­cal char­ity River An­gels to help res­i­dents liv­ing with cancer.

“There will be a mon­ster raf­fle, wine tast­ing by Flor Marche, kids’ craft hosted by Kate Dunn (from) 10-noon and food de­lights made by Jo and Julie from Betty Gar­den will be avail­able from the coun­try kitchen — and there will be loads of stalls with vin­tage retro trea­sures,” Ms Bregazzi said.

A line-up of vin­tage cars is also ex­pected on the day.

“This event aims to be sus­tain­able-to-low waste, so bring your mug and shop­ping bag,” Ms Bregazzi said.

“I’m very ex­cited about this com­ing fair.

“The event in­creases in pop­u­lar­ity ev­ery year, and it’s al­ways a joy to see lo­cal faces hav­ing a fab day out.

“The event also gives peo­ple the op­por­tu­nity to make sus­tain­able pur­chases for the home, them­selves, or Christ­mas gifts.”

The fair starts at 9am and runs un­til af­ter mid­day.
