Local piano teacher and French native Elodie Short wrapped up her latest project with the support of Cullen Wines at the weekend.

Mrs Short is a graduate of France’s Conservatorium of Music and hosted an end-of-year concert at Cullen.

“I’ve been teaching the piano here for the past six years at the high school as well as at home,” she told the Times.

“I have a big group of enthusiastic students, mainly children and a few adults too.”

Mrs Short said the project never would have succeeded with the school’s support, as well as Cullen Wines doyenne Vanya Cullen, with the winery also featuring a piano.

Dozens of children and families attended the Saturday concert and Mrs Short also performed.
