Pitch a plan for Fever fest

Augusta Margaret River Times - - News -

The brains behind winter festival Cabin Fever have put out a call for events for next year’s festival.

Designed to combat the winter slump in visitation to the region, Cabin Fever is a collaboration between individual venues and operators designed to craft events luring Perth and interstate visitors to soak up the region’s off-season tourism offerings.

Co-ordinators Erin Molloy and Brianna Delaporte said new events that “push the boundaries and help solidify our position as not your average food festival” were being sought.

“In terms of highlights for next year, we expect to see the return of favourites such as big bonfires, plenty of cheese, and great live music, as well as more secret dinners,” the team said.

Expressions of interest are open until January 31, with Cabin Fever running between July 19 and 28, 2019.
