Mar­garet River-based mu­sic en­sem­ble Blue Child Col­lec­tive will re­lease the first sin­gle from their lat­est al­bum later this month.

Song Eye of the Nee­dle comes out on Novem­ber 23 as the band em­barks on a na­tional tour.

The self-pro­claimed “fluid groovers” are tour­ing to sup­port their fourth al­bum, Wake Up to the Sound.

Tour­ing with a full band in­cludes fel­low lo­cal mu­si­cians and reg­u­lar col­lec­tive mem­bers Lind­say Baker on sax­o­phone and songstress Em­jay An­geni as well as band front­man Dan White.

Mem­bers of Car­a­vana Sun and Band of Fre­quen­cies are also in­volved.

The tour will in­clude dates in Cowaramup, Duns­bor­ough and Mar­garet River in early Jan­uary.
