Sun­set con­certs sched­uled for the Lodge

Cape Lodge is launch­ing a new se­ries of sun­set con­certs, with the first kicking off this Sun­day.

Beau­ti­fully Mad, a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween two award-win­ning Aus­tralian song­writ­ers, kicks off the se­ries in an evening of blues, jazz and folk from 5-7pm.

One part of the duo is Tony King — an Aria-award win­ner, who was named Aus­tralian Song­writer of the Year 2009 and won Best Lyrics at the In­ter­na­tional Song­writ­ing Awards 2014.

The other half is award-win­ning song­writer and for­mer ac­tor Nina Vox who trained with jazz heavy­weight Ker­rie Bid­dell.

Wine will be avail­able from the pop-up bar and con­cert­go­ers are in­vited to bring rugs, lawn chairs and pic­nic food. Con­cert-only tick­ets are $65 and in­clude a glass of bub­bles. Tick­ets can be cou­pled with a post­con­cert two-course seafood sup­per for $140.
