Tulip­wood is one of the most abun­dant hard­woods in the US for­est, grow­ing at a rate of 35 mil­lion m3 ev­ery year. An­nual har­vests of just 17mil­lion m3 mean that each year in the US an ad­di­tional 18 mil­lion m3 of tulip­wood ac­cu­mu­lates nat­u­rally.

In fact, the tulip­wood tim­ber har­vested to cre­ate dRMM’s End­less Stair would be

re­placed by new growth in the for­est in less than 2 min­utes.
