Log Loader features the best of two worlds

Australian Forests and Timber - - LOG LOADERS -

FOR THE past year Victorian-based Randalls Equipment Company has been fitting Sany Excavators with its own manufactured Rotating Log Grapples. [The model pictured is the Sany SY235C (23.5 ton) machine with Randalls’ .80IR22 Grapple].

“We have found during that time that the Sany Excavators from China have been very reliable as most modern day excavators are,” said Randalls Managing Director Peter Randalls. “In fact, half of all the world’s Excavator sold in one year are working in mainland China today.

“Sany is number one in China today.

“Our company has been building Rotating Log Grapples for more than 25 years now, so when the opportunity came where we could set up a complete Excavator/ Log Loader we were pleased to work with the Sany factory direct on this for the Australian Market,” Peter said.

“This has worked very well for us where as we take care of the build-up , grapple installation and after sales warranty and service. It’s a complete one stop shop with the new machine,” he said.

“We can also meet the market with a very competitive costing for the total package.”

The Sany SY235C runs Kawasaki hydraulics and the Isuzu 6BG1 engine which produces 128.5 Kw. The same model is running in Australia with the SP591LXG2 blue gum harvesting head and the SP761LF pine harvesting head.

Peter explained that all the machines came with Sany Certified operator cabins with ROPS and FOPS. “We do the OPS inhouse in Melbourne and fit extra oil coolers for the harvesters.

“All up we have a very good, honest machine at a very reasonable price for Australian logging contractors.”

Randalls Equipment Company has been manufacturing and distributing forestry equipment and attachments since 1968.
