Australian Four Four Two - - PREMIER LEAGUE -

ANDY GURR, MATCH- GOING SUPPORTER SINCE 1998 This season will be different to last because

most fans will have a higher expectation of where we will finish, after last season’s 10th.

Fans of other clubs might not know that

we aren’t all deluded Geordies who think we should be winning the Champions League.

The player I would happily drive to another club is

Joselu. There’s been no lack of effort from him, but he’s just not good enough for the Premier League.

Our most underrated player is

Paul Dummett. I didn’t rate him for a long time, but he has been so solid and consistent over the past couple of seasons. He’s had a lot of good wingers in his pocket.

The opposition player I secretly admire is

the classy David Silva.

Our pantomime villain is

Anthony Knockaert: overrated, loves a dive.

One change I would make at our club is

the owner. Just sell up!

Keep an eye out for

striker Adam Armstrong. It could be his season to break through at last. He did very well on loan at Blackburn last season and he was also part of the England under-21 squad that won this summer’s Toulon Tournament.

This season we will finish 13th. FFT asks: Were you pleased to see Martin Dubravka make his January loan deal permanent this summer?

Absolutely. He had a fantastic half-season with us.
