DETAILS:

• HOSTS: The Australian Opal Centre and the AG Society.

• DURATION: We will take two separate groups of 20 volunteers. Each group will have the chance to participate in six days of fieldwork.

• WHEN: 7–12 and 14–19 August 2017.

• COST: $2200 per person, which helps support the important work of our scientists. Includes all activities and many lunches and dinners; excludes accommodation and transport. This is a fundraising venture and money raised supports the work of the AOC and the AG Society.

• ACCOMMODATION: There are a variety of options at campsites and motels in Lightning Ridge to suit all budgets.

• TRANSPORT: Volunteers must make their own way to Lightning Ridge.
