THANKS TO HABITAT loss, our migratory shorebirds are under pressure. In an effort to redress this, the Overwintering Project: Mapping Sanctuary has collected prints, videos and sound installations about this issue from more than 100 Australian and New Zealand artists, and will also be running tours to the nearby Werribee ponds, one of Australia’s most important areas of shorebird habitat, to see these birds.
