Dr Dean Miller

Dr Dean Miller (pictured above, at right, with Dr Charlie Vernon, centre, and the late John Rumney) is many things – a scientist, multi-media expert, certified dive instructor and Australian Geographic-sponsored explorer.

Dean’s scientific research career has been rich and diverse, including more than 300 ocean expeditions on ships plying the waters of the world, from Antarctica to the Arctic and everywhere in between.

With much of his life spent at sea and thanks to his diverse background, extensive experience and unique skill set, Dean is ready to take on any adventure and share his deep and abiding passion for the natural world with all those around him.
