Australian Guitar - - Technique - MATT DORIA

Harmony are a veritable supergroup of underground Oz rock mainstays, and wielding some of their strongest passages to date, the Poison City powerhouse make that unquestionably clear on LP3. Meddling rich, mix-flooding guitar solos with calm, almost unnerving strums and the polarising vocals to match, DoubleNegative is 40 straight minutes of blunt and incandescent emotion. Production depthful and riddled with dynamic nuggets of textural guitar, the album shines best in a single dedicated, unbroken listen. Light some candles, pour a nice red, and let the album drag you into a higher state of being... It’s like meditation for tote bag emos.
