On album #3, Cherry Glazerr dial back the rage that defined their earlier works; the viciously punchy, heart-on-sleeve garage-rock edge is wholly intact, but here it’s brought to life with cleaner and wispier melodies that elicit more transcendence than fury. Driven by Clementine Creevy’s warm and gravelly Stratocaster riffage, Stuffed&Ready is almost frustratingly easy to get roped into – it’s impossible to spin just one song and walk away. Also amplified in focus is her brighter and more cerebral noodling, adding a bright, breezy undertone to her vocal gymnastics that help her truly cut deep with the messages in her lyrics. The only real downside here is that Cherry Glazerr haven’t announced a tour yet.
