Dsus4 is about as easy as guitar chords get. If you were using your first three fingers to fret the D chord, just drop your fourth finger down to play the new note. Theorywise, you’ll be ditching the third (F#) and replacing it with a fourth (G). The third is said to be ‘suspended’ in favour of the fourth, hence the name D ‘sus’ 4.
