1968 FENDER TWIN REVERB

-

In 1968, Fender ushered in the silverface era for its amplifier line with a new brushed aluminium faceplate in place of the original black plate, and a silver grille cloth with subtle turquoise stripes, framed by aluminium trim. The amp had two 12-inch speakers, a vibrato circuit and spring reverb, and produced a total of 85 watts from four 6L6 power tubes. Lennon and Harrison received a pair of new silverface Fender Twin Reverbs during the Let It Be sessions.
