SO, WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

We’re all from Sydney’s inner-west, home to some pretty incredible live music venues. We’re also big fans of Enmore Road sunsets – it sounds corny but damn, they’re iconic.

WHAT’S YOUR LATEST DROP?

Our self-titled debut EP came out last November and we couldn’t be prouder. It’s a little psych and a little rock ‘n’ roll, and it starts off with a seven-minute instrumental called ‘Falling In Line’, which was probably the first song we ever wrote together. There’s four songs and it’s a nice lil’ 20-minute listen, which sounds best turned up in your car with mates, windows down on the way to the beach.

HOW WOULD YOU SELL YOUR SOUND?

It’s like eating Cadbury Marvellous Creations: sweet and crunchy, full of surprises and a bit of crackle and pop, leaving you with just the right amount of zing.

WHAT ARE THE GO-TO JAMS ON YOUR TOUR VAN PLAYLISTS?

We’re big Rolling Stones fans. We also love Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Boy Toy, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Grace Cummings, The Uplifting Bell Ends, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue, AC/DC, Ty Segall, Amyl And The Sniffers, Nice Biscuit... The list is pretty extensive, how much time you got?

IN WHAT SETTING DOES YOUR MUSIC TRULY COME TO LIFE?

When you’re having shower beers, getting ready for a night out with your mates that no-one will remember. There’s likely a gig involved, Beam scooters, drunken People’s Burger and an Instagram Story that will need deleting later on.

IT’S 2012 AND THIS IS TUMBLR... WHAT’S ON YOUR MOODBOARD?

An early press shot of The Runaways, a vintage Flying V, the photo of Bianca Jagger’s AAA pass clipped onto her white ‘70s heeled platform, a bum in a pair of killer denim flares, silver glitter poured out onto a table... And probably a sick live shot of Tame Impala on their Lonerism tour.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD WE KNOW?

We’re all really bloody close friends first and foremost, but we reckon that’s pretty obvious when we’re onstage. We try to have fun and not take ourselves too seriously.
