DENON X SERIES WITH HEOS

-

Denon has released an AV receiver which has Denon’s HEOS technology already on-board, thus enabling it to access music streaming services and deliver multi-room audio. The new Denon AVR-X4300H ($2,999) is fitted with nine amplifier stages, each one rated at 200-watts, so it’s already set up to deliver Dolby Atmos or DTS:X without need for additional equipment. In home theatre set-ups that don’t require all nine amplifiers, unused ones can be re-assigned to drive speakers in a second and/or a third audio zone (room), using the same or a different source than the main room. All audio signals undergo Denon’s unique AL24 Plus processing in combination with 192kHz/32-bit DACs and Denon Link HD Connection enables jitter-free connection to a Denon Blu-ray player. Thanks to its 11.2-channel processing capability and 11.2-ch pre-out connections, the AVR-X4300H offers huge flexibility in multi-room and amp assignment options. Besides the two HDMI outputs for the main room, a third HDMI Zone output gives even more convenience in connecting multiple displays in rooms throughout the home.

The AVR-X4300H comes with built-in Airplay and Bluetooth for music streaming from a smartphone, as well as Wi-Fi to enable easy connection to a home wireless network. ‘ Once connected, the built-in HEOS technology opens up a whole new world of unlimited music sources, comfortable control options and multi-room experiences,’ said Ralph Grundl, of Qualifi, which distributes Denon in Australia. ‘ With HEOS inside, users can easily stream from music services like Spotify, TuneIn Internet Radio, Deezer, TIDAL, and SoundCloud and browsing their own music library in the home network is fast and intuitive. Users can also listen to tracks directly from their phone, tablet or USB drive.’

Denon’s free HEOS app enables multi-room audio control, using any iOS or Android device or a Kindle Fire, meaning users can command music in every room from any device: play different music from different sources in every room, group several rooms together and play the same song, perfectly synchronised, in party mode. The app also gives access to the Denon ‘Setup Assistant’, Audyssey MultEQ XT32 automatic room acoustic measurement and correction system (which matches the installed speakers to the individual room’s acoustics, for the smoothest, most natural tonal balance), Audyssey Dynamic Volume system (for real-time volume adjustment), while Audyssey Dynamic EQ improves a system’s surround sound effects at low volume levels. Available now, the AVR-X4300H sells for $2,999 (RRP). For further information, please contact Qualifi on 1800 242 426 or visit the website at www.qualifi.com.au
