FIDATA NOW IN AUSTRALIA

-

Fidata network audio servers and cables from I-O Data Japan are now available in Australia through Reference Audio Visual. Fidata’s HFAS1 series comprises two models, both of which can serve as a complete network audio server for connection to a wide range of high-quality DACs or as ultra-high-quality NAS sources for connection to external network players/streamers. Both models can be controlled using Fidata’s custom iPad control app. ‘ Designed and built in Japan with sound quality and reliability in mind, Fidata has engineered and refined every aspect of the product, from the chassis, power supply, circuit design and user interface to deliver the ultimate in sound quality and user experience,’ said Michael Marchant, of Reference AV. ‘ The Fidata network servers are complemented by a range of high quality Ethernet and USB cables also made by Fidata,’ he added. The HFAS1 uses a version of Twonky Server for music management, transmission, and distribution that has been customised to properly display song titles and artist names and to display songs and album tracks in the proper order and also display high-resolution artwork.
