Ruark’s little MRx speaker
Ruark have made a big name for themselves with their range of desktop radios and compact systems. They have now released the MRx, a product that is a slight departure from their traditional line-up.
The MRx is a network connected wireless speaker. Designed for smaller areas, kitchen, bedrooms etc. or secondary listening areas it can also be linked (wirelessly) to their R2 Mk2 desktop system. It is Bluetooth enabled, plus with its internet connection can access online services such as internet radio, Spotify, Deezer and Tidal.
The controller located on the front of MRx allows volume and source to be easily changed, but for full remote control they have an impressive dedicated app for iOS and Android devices called Ruark Link. This allows full control of all MRx functions and also displays information on the source material being played. Price is $799.
