NEW ‘SIGNATURE’ SPEAKER FROM B&W.

-

B&W has just released a

‘Signature’ version of their popular 702 (floor-standing) and 705 (bookshelf) speakers. Firstly the performance of the speakers has been improved via a crossover upgrade – this is significant because much of the technology in the 700 Series is a trickle down from the iconic 800 D3 series – both the models above are already very good.

More obvious is the finish.

Featuring ebony-coloured timber veneer, each speaker is given nine coats of finish – visually these speakers scream class. Every pair is unique with no two speakers having the same grain finish.

The good news is that the Signature models are only marginally more expensive than the standard version, with the 702 selling for $8,500/pr and the 705 selling for $4,999/pr (plus stands if required).
