In this home for all seasons, indoors and out blend seamlessly, whatever the time of year. The family spends most of their time in the kitchen and dining areas, “usually with the doors wide open”, says Emily. “I love the fact Milo walks directly across the deck to reach the living areas, even in winter – it’s as if he has his own house.” But that easy connection with nature has a downside: “Our bedroom looks directly into the garden, and the view can make it hard to get up!”
