• 2 balls Cleckheato­n Natural Cotton 8 ply or Heirloom Organic Cotton 8ply

NEEDLES AND TOOLS

• 6mm needles

• wool sewing needle

MEASUREMEN­TS

Size cowl 40cm long, 20cm wide

TENSION

As per wool

GETTING STARTED

Pattern:

K1, * yfwd, P2 tog repeat from * to last stitch K1

WORKING PATTERN

Using 6mm needles cast on 40 stitches.

Work in pattern for 80 cm.

Cast off loosely.

MAKING UP

Using a flat seam sew cast off edge to cast on edge. Sew in ends.

Gather cowl in the palm of your hand along seam line and pull down, twisting slightly, at the same time. This will relax the fibres and allow the cowl to drape softly.
