GETTING STARTED

Editor’s Note: I recently purchased a ball of this yarn and taught a complete new knitter how to knit in a couple of minutes with this wool, there is no tension issues, the loops (holes) in the edge of the yarn dictate the place the wrap is made, with all stitches being knitted (garter st) and a scarf has only a short row. Try it you will love it. PS my new knitter is now hooked.

WORKING PATTERN

Cast on 8 sts by threading needle through loops on edge of yarn. 1 st in each 2nd hole.

Work in Garter St. only (knit every row)

Note: when turning from one row to the next, insert needle in 1st hole instead of the 2nd hole.

When the ball is almost finished, cast off all sts in the usual way.

With the last stitch pull yarn through to make a secure end.

Option: using a 3rd needle pick up the first row of sts cast on and graft start and finish rows to form a complete loop scarf.
