WORKING PATTERN – Make 2
Using 3mm needles cast on 56 sts loosely (18, 18, 20) on three needles. Work rounds in K1, P1 rib until work measures 3cm from beginning decreasing one st on last round (55sts)
Change to 3.25mm needles and knit in rounds purling every 4th stitch until work measures 30cm from beginning.
Shape toe:
1st round: *K9,k2tog; rep to end
Rounds 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10,
11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20,
21, 23: Knit.
Round 5: *K8.k2tog; rep to end
Round 9: *K7,k2tog; rep to end
Round 13: *K6, K2tog; rep to end
Round16: *K5.k2tog; rep to end
Round 19: *K4,k2tog; rep to end
Round 22: *K3,k2tog; rep to end
Round 24: *K2,k2tog; rep to end
MAKING UP
Divide remaining stitches evenly between 2 needles. Graft these stitches together and fasten off securely.
