• 2 balls 50gm Surindulge­nce Suri Alpaca or Softa baby Huacaya Alpaca

NEEDLES AND TOOLS

• 5mm knitting needles

Length 70cm

TENSION

As per the wool

WORKING PATTERN

Cast on 42 stitches

Row 1: RS K2, * YO K2tog, K3 from * to end of row

Row 2 and alternate WS rows: Purl

Row 3: K3, * YO K2 tog, K3 from * to end.

Row 5: K4, * YO, K2 tog, K3 from * to end.

Row 7: K4, * YO, K2 tog, K3 from * to end.

Row 9: K5 * YO, K2 tog, K3 from * to end.

Row 11: K6 * YO, K2 tog, K3 from * to end.

Row 12: Purl

These 12 rows make up pattern. Continue with pattern until scarf measures 70cm or until both balls of yarn are used.

Cast off.

MAKING UP

Darn in ends, wash gently in warm wool wash or shampoo and block to dry. This will help reduce initial shedding of the yarn.
