CB8 – slip next 4 sts onto cable needle holding at the back of your work knit following 4 sts from left hand needle then the 4 sts held on the cable needle.

GETTING STARTED

Panel A – 14 row repeat Cast on 16sts

ROW 1: knit

ROW 2 AND ALT ROWS: K4, p8, k4. ROW 3 AND 5: knit

ROW 7: k4, CB8, k4

ROW 9, 11, 13: knit

Panel B – 2 row repeat

Cast on 20sts

RS ROW: purl

ROW 2: p1, k1, till end of row.

Panel C – 3 row repeat

Cast on 21 sts

ROW 1: knit

ROW 2: k3, k2tog, k5, yo, k1, yo, k5, k2tog, k3

ROW 3: purl

WORKING PATTERN

Panel A cast on 16sts and work 20 rows.

Panel B with RS facing cast on 20sts (make sure that both sides are facing the same way)

Work another 20 rows rememberin­g to entwine the wool when changing colours.

Cast on the 21sts of panel C. Continue with 3 panels as follows. 70 repeats of panel C.

NEXT ROW: with RS facing cast of the 21sts of panel C

Continue across the remaining sts. Continue for a further 20 rows of Panel A and B.

NEXT ROW: with the WS facing cast off the 20sts of Panel B

Continue across the remaining sts. Work a further 20 rows.

Cast off.
