CALMSLEY HILL CITY FARM

The best of rural Australia in Sydney’s own backyard!

-

Calmsley Hill City Farm in south west Sydney is the perfect place to take the whole family for a FUN day out, where children and adults will learn together whilst having fun.

You can get up close and personal with a variety of farm yard and native animals, and the kids will love the baby animal nursery where they can feed and pat farmyard animals including the lambs, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and sheep.

The whole family can participate in our daily shows including sheep shearing, cow milking, and working dogs. A sheep is shorn every day in our sheep show, and we tell the story of wool and what we use it for, and how we get it off the sheep.

There’s a variety of native animals to see and learn about including kangaroos, koalas, wombats and reptiles, and three alpacas that you can pat and feed, while the tractor ride is a farm experience the whole family will love.

There are beautiful open spaces with covered picnic areas and FREE electric barbeques for self catering or you can tempt yourself with something from our extensive café menu.

Calmsley Hill is striving to be a fully sustainable site, and we are progressively developing programs for all ages on the key elements for sustainability, water, waste, land and energy. Come along and be a part of the sustainable journey with us. We’re located in Abbotsbury in the south west of Sydney, off the M7 just under one hour from Sydney and 30 minutes from Parramatta.

Parking is plentiful and provides level easy access to the entrance of the farm. With level, easily accessible pathways throughout the farm, Calmsley Hill City Farm is completely stroller and wheelchair friendly. We also cater for large groups and birthday parties for all ages.

Open every day* from 9.30am-4.30pm (*except Good Friday and Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New
