P2tog-b – Purl 2 together through back of loop

Ssk – slip 2 stitches knitwise, one at a time from the left to the right needle, then knit them together through their backs

TENSION

20 sts by 20 rows over st. st. on 5mm knitting needles to 10 cm.

WORKING PATTERN

Using 5mm needles, cast on 45 stitches.

Knit 4 rows in garter stitch.

ROW 1: WS – K6, p6, k6, p9, k6, p6, k6.

ROW 2: K3, p3, yo, k4, k2tog, p6, yo, k4, ssk, k3, p6, yo, k4, k2tog, p3, k3.

ROW 3: K6, p2tog, p4, yo, k6, p2, p2tog-b, p4, yo, p1, k6, p2tog, p4, yo, k6.

ROW 4: K3, p3, yo, k4, k2tog, p6, k2, yo, k4, ssk, k1, p6, yo, k4, k2tog, p3, k3.

ROW 5: K6, p2tog, p4, yo, k6, p2 togb, p4, yo, p3, k6, p2tog, p4, yo, k6.

ROW 6: K3, p3, k6, p6, k9, p6, k6, p3, k3.

MAKING UP

Cast off on wrong side loosely. Sew in threads.
