WORKING PATTERN BACK

With 4.50mm needles cast on 87 (92, 97, 102, 107, 112, 117, 122) sts. **ROW 1: RS - P2; *k3, p2; rep from * to end.

ROW 2: WS - K the knit sts and p the purl sts.

Rep these 2 rows for 7cm, end with a WS row.**

Stst until piece measures 45cm from beg, end with a WS row.

SHAPE UNDERARMS AND RAGLAN

Cast off 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 8) sts beg next 2 rows. 79 (82, 87, 92, 95, 98, 103, 106) sts.

NEXT ROW: RS - Keeping Raglan shaping correct to match back, patt to marked centre sts, turn, work on these sts only and leave rem sts for other side on hold.

Cont to shape raglan and dec 1 st at neck edge next 11 (11, 11, 12, 12, 11, 12, 11) rows.

Work straight at neck edge, cont to shape raglan to end.

Fasten off last st.

With RS facing, return to rem sts, slip next 19 (20, 21, 20, 21,

22, 21, 22) sts to holder for front neck, rejoin yarn and work 2nd half to match first, reversing shaping.
