Endura are one of the most recognised names in Australian sports’ nutrition, thanks to being in the game for a long time and having a great product range with wide availability. ENDURA MAX CRAMP AND MUSCLE EASE

A stalwart of the Endura range, this product is perfect for those who suffer cramps. Endura Max is not a cure-all remedy, nor a normal energy drink mix. It contains a high dose of Magnesium and Taurine, and is ideally formulated for people who might be deficient in Magnesium. Endura suggest that with Vitamin C, the mix helps fight oxidative stress, and the Taurine increases your time to exhaustion. There is evidence to suggest that Taurine can assist fat burning, prevent muscle soreness and reduce fatigue by assisting with the removal of waste products during exercise. Like anything, you can have too much, and Endura don’t recommend more than two serves of Endura Max per day. This would be 6g of Taurine.

The Magnesium will also be of benefit, as it is part of energy metabolism and bone formation – something that most endurance athletes need to be mindful of. High intensity exercise can reduce Magnesium, and lead to cramping and loss of energy. The downside of taking Magnesium? Some people can be very sensitive to excess Magnesium, potentially with ‘explosive’ episodes. Again, sticking to
