Once you en­ter the berm, it is re­ally im­por­tant to look as far ahead as pos­si­ble and by this stage you shouldn’t be brak­ing hard at all. As you lean into the berm, your out­side foot should drop down pro­gres­sively to give you more trac­tion as you get deeper into the berm. On su­per tight berms, you may not drop your out­side foot at all – it’s all about be­ing able to re­act for what’s next.
