Spring up and slightly for­wards to en­sure the bike has plenty of room to move, and you have the abil­ity to sus­pend. If I’m not al­low­ing the bike to move un­der­neath me, then there is a greater risk of not mak­ing it. If my weight is on the bike, or my limbs are fully locked then nei­ther bike nor body can ‘sus­pend’.
